About donation based sessions

Donation based sessions are inspired by on the tradition of Dāna — the Buddhist practice of generosity — which  has been at the heart of contemplative tradition for thousands of years. It is the practice of giving openly, without expectation of return, and in doing so, creating a living bond between giver, receiver, and community. Something flows in both directions. Everyone is nourished.

In a meditation class, dāna takes the form of a voluntary contribution — an expression of gratitude for the teachings and a way of supporting their continuation. Each person gives according to their means. This is what keeps the practice alive and available, ensuring that financial circumstance never becomes a barrier to participation.

At its core, dāna embodies compassion in action. No one is turned away. The transformative gifts of meditation belong to everyone who seeks them. And when you give — in whatever form that takes — you become part of this tradition, helping to carry the teachings forward so they remain accessible to all.
